Good heavens. I see two sims and three possibles! 12, 9, and 2 o clock. There are always lots of possibilities in clusters like this one!

I'm going to count this as a #simfail as well: we select massive galaxies as the sim lenses, but have not been discarding close pairs!

I am not sure why this is a sim fail? The clusters have an increased probability of lensing, and we are boosting the cross-section even more

There are only so many clusters in the survey, simulating a fixed number of systems will mean some will have two sims instead of one.

And we do not always know which clusters have lenses, else we will not start Spacewarps! 😃 So some sims can have real lenses too.

Yeah, you're right @surhudm - calling this a simfail is a bit harsh. I guess I am still getting used to the wide-field era! 😃

We've all been used to thinking of lenses as rare objects, but with enough sky surveyed, we'll find more and more crazy things like this 😃

It's more depth and resolution that will make real multi-lens fields common
