possible gamma ray burst?

  I hope I'm not just hoping for the best here but I'm sure one of the photos had a gamma ray burst. Two blue cone shapes going outward from above and below the galaxy. I know its probably my enthusiasm running riot but who knows.

  Sounds like diffraction spikes protruding from a star!

  The brightness of stars in our galaxy causes some strange effects! The spotter guide will have more info 😃
