The bright thing to the left is a foreground star from our galaxy. The colors, spikes and weird things all round are all optical artifacts.

the target we want you to look for lensing in is the one close to the centre. the bright thing to the left is a very bright star

the star is so bright that it overloads the detector & causes this kind of image - see http://spacewarps.org/#/guide False Positives Stars
