Simulated lens?

This is a training image and so I will take your word for it that the upper left object is simulated; however, even under the quick dashboard it remains unconvincing.

A few of the simulated lenses can be pretty unconvincing, if you come across one that just mark it as a #simfail. On the whole they are pretty accurate.

I can not draw a conclusion from this lesson. why it is lens?

Probably one of the more unconvincing lenses !

Does not look like a lens to me. Top left corner declared as a sim. Looks the same as the two bright objects bottom of screen.

I agree. I was surprised when the pop-up said it was a lens.

I can't see the galaxy clearly as it's under the collect button but I suggest it's one of the sims generated within a spiral.

@Thomas J - you can view this image (right click) in a new tab to get rid of the "collect" appearing on the top of the lens.

A difficult one - but there's a tiny blob sticking out (9'oclock) of the galaxy's light (tilting your monitors/laptops will help a bit)

Dashboard of no help. Still did not see it. Maybe it's a "false-negative" on purpose.

It is not a 'difficult one' even with an HD and very large (21 inch) screen I still cannot discern a lens.

This frustrated me - I kept at it - by laying my screen almost flat and looking along it you can see a lens at about 9 and another about 4.
