Double something, with rings

  I think double quasar, with 2 arcs
  Might be a supernova?

  I vote merger. The arcs are too odd to be lensing (where is the lens?). Supernovae would just look like stars.

  Even 2 years on it is very odd. Played around in Tools:

  

  Do we think all the objects are connected? or perhaps foreground stars in the line of sight of a more distant collisional ring galaxy?

  Any other ideas?
