Simulated lens but two different colours?

  Okay, to begin with this is not a simulated lens 😃

  As you mentioned the two points have different colors - this already tells us it is not a lens. In live cases of strong gravitational lensing, the quasar points will have the same color. This is because the foreground galaxy is magnifying the same object, therefore it will inherit the same attributes, such as color.
