  On this frame, there are two other red spots with blue rings around them (11 and 2 o'clock) - this might imply an image processing error.

  That said - it looks like a perfect Einstein ring.

  It's not a star, I think - it's too extended/fuzzy, and there are no diffraction spikes coming off it. If it's an Einstein Ring, its from a very compact but still extended source (ie not a quasar). Very interesting! Definitely worth collecting, and inspecting it in more detail when we get back access to the FITS images. I'd like to see the u and g-band images alone.
