Why do I see so many blue and purple lensed objects (projections around lens) but few of the redder side of the spectrum?

How can I tell that is not a lens near the giant looking galaxy?

When I go into the advanced (brighter/bluer) I got a different image! #help

The different image in the dashboard is a known bug and we are trying very hard to squash it

The 'lensing' galaxy is a spiral and they are usually not massive enough to do any lensing. And the lensed galaxy is far too big !
