Help with this object

Can someone explain what this bright object is and if it is massive enough to cause gravitational lensing?

That is a star in our galaxy, and no, it would not be massive enough to lens a galaxy. There are other types lensing (eg. microlensing) but as far as I am aware they would not be visible in these images.
