Is there a gravitional lens?

  • Foundren_Shi by Foundren_Shi

The three arcs at the lower-right corner isn't come from a gravitional lens? May an massive object which is invisible (such as blackholes) become a lens?

Even the most massive black holes don't have enough mass to make strong lenses in this study. The mass that we are concerned with is dark matter which is around galaxies, and we can see those galaxies.
These three galaxies look like a chance alignment. Still, we should keep an open mind or else we will never see new things.
