Odd things in images

There's a few odd things I've noticed in a couple of images, and I was hoping somebody could explain to me, exactly what the deal is.
I'm talking about the following images:

Q: What is that huge thing on the right of the image?
Q: Why is there a black rectangle from the top middle?

Q: What is that huge thing on the left of the image? (I assume it's the same as above.)
Q: Follow the above thing directly right. Take the bright yellow/white object roughly in the middle of the image and follow it directly up. Roughly where the two lines intersect, there's an oddly shaped purple object, what is that?!(http://talk.spacewarps.org/#/subjects/ASW0000mml)
Q: Blue flare, white line through the image, with blue and green sides... this image makes no sense to me.

Q: What is the red line running down the image?
And finally, how can I link to the images directly?
