How does this work

  I was wondering how our input is used to find the lenses. What would prevent someone from coming on here and marking random things to screw up the data?

  Each image is classified by at least 10 different users, so even if someone did try to cause mischief - it would not affect the results 😃

  The data will be looked at by the scientists. They will see if the computer software missed any lenses, and improve the programming for the next run of data. The scientists will then happily learn about the Universe from analyzing the lenses.
