quick dashboard not working

  as the heading says the quick dashboard is not working to be more precise it is just turning grey and flickering I left it for 15 minutes to see if it loaded but it didn't.
  am I doing something wrong or is it broke ?

  What browser are you using? The quick dashboard does not work in Internet Explorer.
